From the Limits to Growth to Earth4All: Systemic Solutions to wicked Problems

(Bild: zvg/Gion Durisch) In 1972, the Club of Rome commissioned a report - The Limits to Growth - to look at the interconnected issues and complex problems faced by humanity. 50 years later it is clear that we are overshooting the carrying capacity of our planet and can observe the consequences of our extractive economic system. In 2022 The Club of Rome published a new report, called “Earth4All”. The book proposes five extraordinary turnarounds that provide a framework for a fair, just, and affordable economic transformation. The keynote will discuss these proposals and policy suggestions.
