International Relations

International Relations (IR) is your contact point for cooperation with university partners outside of Europe. The IR Intranet site holds an agreement template ready for you and the IR unit assists you and your team with agreement negotiations and finalizing of contracts for signature. In addition to your own local partner that you work with Switzerland entertains a network of science consulates abroad called swissnex that are available in over 20 countries. They are ready to assist you and your partners! Should your collaboration interest focus on the trinational region of Basel and you are seeking collaborators on the German and French side of the border you could go and check out open calls and examples of Upper Rhine projects. For the execution of mobility agreements - within and outside of Europe - the Student Exchange Office is there to support you.
