Mobility Switzerland Incoming
Swiss universities have developed procedures to facilitate student mobility within Switzerland. The mobility offices at all universities are responsible for the administrative process and for providing information to students. At the University of Basel, mobility between Swiss universities is managed by Student Exchange.
Scope and Validity of the Swiss Mobility Program
The Swiss Mobility Program allows you to spend one or two semesters at the University of Basel without much administrative hassle. You remain enrolled at your home university, where you continue to pay semester fees. There are no tuition fees at the University of Basel. The time-consuming process of withdrawing and re-enrolling is not required.
You must register for a mobility program through your home university. Please check with your International Office.
Once you have completed the application process, your home university will nominate you for the University of Basel.

Enrollement at the University of Basel
After you have been nominated by your home university, you must register at the University of Basel using the online form. When registering online, please keep the following points and steps in mind:
- Initial Registration: Before you can log in, you must register. Once you register, you will receive your personal access to the system. You only need to register the first time. After that, you can log in using the login page.
