Course Formats & Degrees
Continuing-education programs are standardized across all Swiss universities. Programs differ in duration and scope of study, and in the learning services provided to students; i.e. in the number of ECTS credits awarded (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).
The University of Basel offers the following course formats and degrees:

Continuing-Education Students Benefit from the Services of the Language Center
All continuing-education students benefit from the services offered by the Language Center at the University of Basel:
- Student Rate
Students enrolled in MBA, MAS, and DAS continuing-education programs at the University of Basel are eligible for the student rate.
- Employee Rate
Students enrolled in CAS programs at the University of Basel (requirement: confirmation by the program director) are eligible for the employee rate.
