The University of Basel actively promotes dialogue with society. Events are a key tool in this effort: they foster exchange and social discourse, enhance the university’s visibility, and underscore its regional roots.

Through outreach activities and public events related to science, such as the Children’s University, the Knowledge Box, and the “Uni am Markt” campaign, the university brings knowledge directly to the region and contributes to public discourse.
