SHAPE (Student Hub for Action, Projects and Engagement) bietet Studierenden der Universität Basel neu die Möglichkeit, im Rahmen eines Workshops eigene Projekte rund ums Thema Nachhaltigkeit zu entwickeln und/oder sich für eine Projektförderung in Form einer Anschubfinanzierung und Unterstützung bei der Projektumsetzung zu bewerben. Der zweiteilige Workshop findet am Freitag 26. April und Freitag 3. Mai 2024 jeweils nachmittags statt. Die Antragsfrist für die Projektförderung ist der 20. Mail.

Do you want to understand the science behind climate change? Join our workshop and learn all you need to know in a playful way!
As humanity is faced with unprecedented challenges, "Climate Fresk" is a workshop that aims at raising awareness and understanding among people about climate change, therefore enabling impacting positive actions at the personal and collective level!
It gives the opportunity to learn a lot in a short period of time and is meant for both novices and experts. The exact location will be announced soon.

Hearing No Objections is a documentary by Emily Boyle about youth activists at COP28 in Dubaï. Swiss Youth For Climate (SYFC) was founded in 2015 with the aim of giving Switzerland’s youth representation on the national and international stages. Since then, SYFC has grown to become a reference youth climate organisation in Switzerland, taking part in key climate debates at the regional, national and international levels.
Join us to watch this interesting documentary together an the university. The exact location will be announced soon.

If so, then we would like to invite you to meet up with like-minded people in our networking event!
We will exchange experiences, look for synergies and discuss ways in which we can work together for a more sustainable university.
