Basel Mentoring Network (BAMNET) places you with a mentor of your choice for directed support in your academic career, so you can take the next step in your qualification easier and faster. You will consult with an experienced personality of your choice from here and abroad about your career path. Simultaneously you will gain strategic knowledge of unwritten rules in academia.

Requirement for participation

You are an female assistant professor at the University of Basel. You would like a mentor with whom you can maintain an exchange and who will support you on your path to full professorship.

You let us know yourself who you would like to get into contact with. We will handle the request for you. Both national or international experts from the academic field are an option. Contact us to discuss further details together.

Female assistant professors from the University of Basel are informed about this program at the beginning of every spring semester. You can also contact us at any time. We are looking forward to hear from you.

Further information

The offer begins as a trial in the spring semester 2022. It will be evaluated after three years and then a decision will be made on its continuation.
