Services

The Grants Office informs researchers at the University of Basel and the associated institutes about national and international funding opportunities, supports them in submitting applications, organises information and training events and helps them find partners.

As part of the Euresearch mandate, the Grants Office provides information and support free of charge to applicants outside the university (research institutes, SMEs, industry) in the north-western region of Switzerland who wish to apply for research funding under the European research framework programme Horizon Europe.

    Our newsletter provides you with the latest news on calls for proposals, update on research programmes or events.

    Proposal Review – If you are the co-ordinator of a project our specialists in Bern can also give you feedback on your proposal before you submit it to the European Commission (by early appointment only). Please contact the relevant National Contact Point in Bern or ask us for further information

    On the following web-platforms you can register yourself and create a profile linked to your Call Topics of interest. You can also search for other research groups interested in the same Topics.
    The offical partner search of the European Commision, supports you in finding the right partners. The partner search platforms on the right side target a specific field or Horizon 2020 programme.
