diss:kurs – Basel Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs Present Their Projects
The next diss:kurs will take place on June 3, 2027, at 5:00 pm at Tabourettli (Spalenberg 12, 4051 Basel), followed by an apéro riche.

Academic insights for everyone: At diss:kurs, doctoral candidates and postdocs from various subject areas present accessible insights into their current projects in inspiring short talks.
Each speaker will have 10 minutes to give the audience fascinating insights into their field of research, followed by questions from the audience. The call for applications is open to all doctoral candidates and postdocs of the University of Basel.
Applications should be submitted using the Application Form, the deadline is October 15, 2026. After this period, a committee will review the applications and select the presenters for diss:kurs 2027.
