Welcome to the University of Basel
With the "Start Smart"-Week, which runs from September 19 to 23, the University of Basel offers new students at the Bachelor level an exciting program designed to ease their entry into their studies. The Rector and Vice Rector welcome the new students on Monday morning for the commencement ceremony, followed by the introductory events of the faculties. During the day, the service units, the student organizations and the subject groups of the University of Basel present the diverse range of studies and services at the Info Market. On the four following evenings, first-year students can explore the university world.
