Mathieu Foundation
The University of Basel Mathieu Foundation owes its existence to a donation made by the Ambroise Jacques Mathieu and Marie-Eugène Mathieu Foundation to the University of Basel. The University of Basel receives a contribution every three years.
The intended purpose
Funds from the Mathieu Foundation are not used to cover training/education costs, but instead provide nonrecurring grants for special applications with regard to completing a doctorate/PhD or master’s degree.
Target group
PhD candidates and master’s students approaching the end of their degree.
Terms
Enrollment at the University of Basel; Swiss citizenship.
