Innovation & Corporate Relations
The University of Basel actively promotes the translation of scientific discoveries into groundbreaking innovations and the founding of spin-off companies and thereby seeks to generate a positive impact on society.
The Innovation Office is the central contact point at the University for all matters related to innovation and entrepreneurship. The Office strives to support a dynamic culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Basel. In addition, the Office initiates and runs initiatives and projects to sensitize all interested students, researchers and professors and helps them gain competences in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Finally, the Office coordinates the different support services for innovation projects and spin-offs of the university and opens channels between the University, private and other external partners.
