Digitalization in Teaching
With the strategy «Digitalization in Teaching», the University of Basel wants to create appropriate conditions and offer training opportunities so that its students can become confident and active members of an increasingly digital society.
The strategy was drawn up in 2018 by a specific strategy group (see composition below), in consultation with the Teaching Commission and approved by the Rectorate.
«Digital Literacies» Project
Digitalization has a direct impact on university education. University graduates need new skills that enable them to live, learn and work in the digital society. With the «Digital Literacies» strategic initiative, the University of Basel aims at strengthening the corresponding skills of its students, teachers and staff in all relevant aspects. The project is being implemented as part of the swissuniversities programme «Strengthening digital skills in teaching».
