Strong Foundations

Clearly conveyed fundamentals provide guidance and facilitate entry into the subject. Nominations may be submitted for lecturers whose teaching enables students to acquire essential competencies and to prepare well for assessments.

Further criteria:

• The awardee actively promotes self-directed learning.
• structures the learning process clearly and transparently, from learning objectives to assessment.
• embeds the learning content in a broader context.
• provides high-quality and diverse learning materials and opportunities.
• engages with students at eye level and is open to answering their questions.
