In fall semester 2020, most classes along with their corresponding assessments and proof of participation will again need to be conducted digitally, either entirely or in part.
The Office of Educational Development will provide a range of academic teaching workshops to support lecturers in the fall semester to deliver their courses digitally. The courses are available online and include self-study phases. Online registration is open from 29.6.2020. Kursangebot HS 2020

Professionalizing teaching in higher education: The Office of Educational Development helps teaching staff at the University of Basel to train and develop their teaching skills.
Academic teaching workshops, training programs, and events inspire participants and provide them with the space to:
- discuss academic teaching standards
- exchange ideas with other tutors
- reflect on their own teaching
The Office of Educational Development at the University of Basel is a member of the UK Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA). SEDA provides international accreditation for individual training programs in academic teaching.
