On this page, you will find all the information you need to best prepare for attending a course at a Eucor partner university.

Four Steps to Your Eucor Course

  • 1. Choose the right course

The first step is to choose the right course at the partner university. Take a look at the course catalogs of the Eucor universities. Please note: French universities do not have conventional course catalogs, so you should first look for a suitable study program. Find out here how to choose a course that fits your needs.

  • 2. Contact the lecturer at the host university

Once you have found the right course, we recommend that you contact the lecturer at the host university to clarify whether there are any prerequisites for attending the course.

  • 3. Contact the degree subject coordinator at your home university

If there are no obstacles to attending the course at the host university, we recommend that you contact the degree subject or mobility coordinator in Basel to ensure that the credits and grades can be recognized. Here you will find a list of your contact persons in the departments. We recommend that you conclude a learning agreement before your mobility period.

  • 4. Enrol at the host university and register for the selected course(s)

The final step is to enrol at the host university and register for the selected course. Please note: The enrolment and registration deadlines of the host universities apply. Make sure you find out about the deadlines in good time.

Three steps to successful completion

  • 1. Have your credits and grades recognized

At the end of the semester, download the transcript of records from the partner university's campus management system and send it to your degree subject coordinator in Basel to have your credits and grades recognized.

  • 2. Have your travel costs reimbursed

You can have your travel expenses reimbursed within three months after the end of the course you attended. Find out here how the process works.

  • 3. Eucor certificate

Have the Eucor team at the University of Basel certify that you have internationalized your studies with Eucor. To do so, send an email to eucor-epicur@unibas.ch and include your transcript of records for the course you have taken
