University of Basel Employees
Eligibility
Employees are entitled to participate with their University of Basel employee ID card (UNIcard "M").
Registration
University of Basel employees can register for courses online. When registering online, the button "LOGIN UNI BASEL" and the Switch edu-ID must be used.
Employees of Associated Institutes
Associated institutes of the University of Basel:
- Basel Institute on Governance
- Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI)
- Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB)
- Swiss Peace Foundation (Swisspeace)
- Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH)
- Swiss Center for Rescue, Emergency and Disaster Medicine (SCRED)
Eligibility
Employees of associated institutes are entitled to participate with the “Sports ID GREEN associated institutes”.
How to apply for the “Sports ID GREEN associated institutes”
The “Sports ID GREEN associated institutes" can be obtained free of charge for each semester from the University Sports Office upon presentation of an employee card from one of the associated institutes. Alternatively, the sports ID can be applied for by email to unisport@unibas.ch. The proof of employment (scan), current contact details and a passport photo (only for first-time applications) must be enclosed with the application. Registration
Holders of a valid "Sports ID GREEN associated institutes" can register for courses online. When registering online, the "LOGIN ÜBRIGE" button, the email address entered during registration and the unisport password must be used. The unisport password can be requested during online registration.
University of Basel Visitors
Eligibility
Holders of a valid personal UNIcard "E" (with photo) are entitled to participate.
Registration
Holders of a valid personal UNIcard “E” (with photo) must be registered or activated in our course system every semester in order to be able to register for courses. For registration or activation, the validated UNIcard "E" (scan) and the current contact data must be sent to unisport@unibas.ch. When registering online, the "LOGIN ÜBRIGE" button, the email address entered during registration and the unisport password must be used. The unisport password can be requested during online registration.
