The Accounting is responsible for asset accounting, the overall coordination and performance of ongoing travel management activities, the issue and coordination of and accounting for university credit cards for purchases, the financial processing of tuition fees and debtor dunning runs.

The Accounting acts as a central point of contact for all questions relating to VAT and prepares the university’s quarterly VAT return.

It is responsible for expanding and updating the Accounting Manual and for training the individuals authorized to post transactions.

As far as payroll accounting is concerned, the Accounting serves as the operational interface between Human Resources and Finance and Controlling, and ensures that the four-eyes principle is practiced between offices during central posting processes involving personnel.
