At Saturday Morning Physics, students can immerse themselves in the world of modern physics. (Photo: University of Basel, Department of Physics) Saturday Morning Physics ist eine spannende Veranstaltungsreihe für Physik-Interessierte – vor allem für Jugendliche ab 14 Jahren.
Prof. Dr. Tomasz Smolenski vom Departement Physik der Universität Basel hält einen Vortrag über Quantenphysik und erklärt, wie die Welt der Atome funktioniert und was dies mit Quantentechnologie zu tun hat.
Zusätzlich zum Vortrag gibt es einen Experimentierpark, der von Schülern des Phaenovums Lörrach und des Gymnasiums Kirschgarten organisiert wird.
Programm
- 10.00 Uhr: Prof. Dr. Tomasz Smolenski: From Particles and Waves to Wonders of Quantum Materials
- 10.45 Uhr: Kaffeepause, Diskussion
- 11.15 Uhr: Experimente-Park
- 12.30 Uhr: Ende
Wer an diesem Samstag teilnimmt, erhält ein Saturday Morning Physics- Diplom und kann an einem Wettbewerb teilnehmen. Zu gewinnen gibt es T-Shirts und als ersten Preis ein iPad.
