«Digital Literacies» Project

Digitalization has a direct impact on university education. University graduates need new skills that enable them to live, learn and work in the digital society.

In the years 2019 to 2025 the University of Basel, as part of the federal programme Strengthening Digital Skills in Teaching, implemented the project “Digital Literacies” to enhance the digital competencies of its students, teaching staff, and employees.

The project has now been completed. However, the University of Basel continues to promote digital skills and literacies through numerous offers and initiatives. These include the Framework Digital Literacies, the web portal Digital Skills, as well as the course for first-semester students UPGRADE your digital skills.
