Controlling & Reporting
The main focus of Controlling & Reporting is on overall university budget planning, target/actual comparisons, staff planning/monitoring, administration of university external funding (e.g. Swiss National Science Foundation, European Union, federal authorities, private individuals and foundations) and the reporting required for these areas.
Essential tasks are:
Central point of contact for those responsible for external funding and cost centers in all matters related to budget and reporting.
Central management of master data in relation to cost centers and external funding commissions (incl. overhead and VAT statements).
Comprehensive, university-wide external funding controlling, and the preparation and financial verification of reports to internal university and external bodies.
The creation of key figures for university management, faculties and departments (e.g. regular reporting of target/actual comparisons, staff and financial figures, ad hoc evaluations) and the preparation of statistics for federal authorities complete the portfolio of tasks.
