Culture of ethical leadership and collaboration
To support a permanent culture of leadership and collaboration, the internal Training and Development (POE) office is making an active contribution by offering various services to University of Basel staff, particularly with regard to strengthening personal resources. In 2018, POE redesigned the tool for employee reviews. Further education, coaching and consulting as well as individual workshops and process monitoring in change processes are also included.
Number of counseling sessions (by topic), consulting in change processes
In 2018, a total of 46 standard classes took place, 20 of which were offered by the POE itself and 26 in cooperation with external partners.
160 persons took advantage of 307 coaching and counseling sessions for individual self-reflection and further development in the following areas:
POE offered guidance to around 700 people during 57 workshops in total. A wide range of day-long or half-day workshops were held for smaller teams as well as for large organizational units. The workshops covered topics such as guidance in change processes, restructuring and conflict management.
