On 24 April, the Industry Night offers a unique glimpse into the varied and captivating workplaces of the Basel region. Participants include the Department of Physics at the University of Basel, the Basel Quantum Center, the Swiss Nanoscience Institute and the Swiss Economic Archives.
The Department of Physics and the Basel Quantum Center are preparing live experiments that bring nano- and quantum physics, cosmology, and particle research to life. There will also be guided tours of the physics laboratories, lectures by scientists, and opportunities to engage with them.
The Swiss Nanoscience Institute will make the invisible visible and tangible through live experiments, microscopy, and nanofabrication.
The Swiss Economic Archives offers industrial films and flashlight tours of the storage facility, as well as a reading corner and puzzles.
