2024 is a year of democracy, in which around two billion people in over 60 countries go to the polls, not least here in Basel. What influence could artificial intelligence have on the outcome of elections and how is it already influencing the state of democracy worldwide?
As part of its AI Initiative, the University of Basel is organizing a panel discussion around the question: Can AI decide elections?
