Following their appointments, teaching faculty will automatically receive a University of Basel email account. Accounts provide access to the university’s Online Services. Depending on their duties and responsibilites, teaching faculty have access to the following services:
Examination/course registration lists
Registration lists are activated as soon as the registration period has commenced (spring semester: from 1 January; fall semester: from 1 August).
Registration lists will appear as soon as the course assessment period begins (see below).
Period for entering assessments in the 2017 fall semester:
28 November 2017–31 January 2018
(Transcripts of records dispatched mid-February 2018)
Students can only be provided with complete transcripts if assessments are entered within the defined period. Transcripts of records detailing the credits earned are sent out in mid-February (for the fall semester) and mid-August (for the spring semester), respectively.

Entering and updating course details, for instance, course contents, learning objectives, admission requirements, reading lists, etc.
Courses of the current and the following semester are displayed until the end of the term. The current semester is subsequently replaced by the semester after next at the end of each term.
