Communications
The Communications department assists the President’s Office and university units in their dialog with various stakeholders inside and outside of the university.
The Communications department is the first point of contact for journalists with inquiries about research and teaching as well as institutional issues at the University of Basel.
We put journalists in touch with experts and interviewees from all departments who support the media in their research.
In the university-wide print and online media, we report on developments and achievements of the University of Basel and the people who make them possible. In addition, we advise university organizations and staff in communications-related matters.
