Quality Development

Our vision: Working together towards ongoing development.

We promote quality development at our university by working together with the parties responsible for ensuring quality in research, teaching and governance to establish and develop clear, needs-oriented, participatory and well-founded quality assurance processes.

We should take advantage of the momentum that is currently so recognizable, the hard work of those responsible for quality assurance, and the increased acceptance.

Example of pedagogical monitoring

The implementation of the Bologna Reform has included new teaching metrics. Trends in these metrics can be analyzed over the course of several years. These quantitative metrics, which include changes in the number of students, analyses on dropout rates, failure rates in central examinations, etc., provide the responsible parties at the university with key information that can be used in combination with qualitative information from evaluations to improve the quality of teaching.

The pedagogical monitoring project delivers the necessary quantitative data in the area of teaching at all levels of the university to decision makers – whether faculty heads, instruction and curriculum committees, or the Rectorate. The pedagogical monitoring project also advises in the use and interpretation of the data.
