The successful career program is aimed at highly qualified female doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers from the University of Basel. Over a ten-month period, the program supports junior female scientists to systematically plan and promote their careers and prepare them for future leadership and management assignments. Application deadline: 15 January 2017.

The Congressi Stefano Franscini is the meeting platform of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich (ETH Zurich). It gives the possibility of holding subsidized international conferences and workshops at the venue Monte Verità in Ascona. Applications for 2018 conferences can now be submitted.
get on track – for PhD students with family responsibilities
The new funding line get on track is aimed at doctoral students who are parents and have proven family responsibilities. Support options are offered each semester to support the progress during their qualification phase. These support options include temporary supplementary support for childcare, hiring of an assistant or individual support within the scope of the available options.
