Mobility fellowships

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is committed to promoting junior scholars and provides funding for this purpose. Mobility fellowships for research work at a foreign institution comprise living costs and travel expenses as well as in certain cases expenses incurred by conducting research, registering at the foreign institution and attending conferences.

Fellowships for young scientists and academics

Doc.Mobility fellowships offer doctoral students an excellent opportunity to conduct research at institutes abroad. The Early Postdoc.Mobility and Postdoc.Mobility fellowships are directed to postdoctoral researchers embarking on an academic career.

Doc.Mobility fellowships enable doctoral students to conduct part of their dissertation at a research institution abroad in order to enhance their scientific profile. Doc.Mobility fellowships are awarded in all disciplines.
