The master's program in law represents the second stage of a related course of study. In this study phase, students deepen their knowledge. Passing the master's program completes the university education to become a lawyer. Successful completion of the master's program is a prerequisite for writing a dissertation or taking the bar exam.
The Master's programs at the Law Faculty of the University of Basel offer a wide variety of options: a free Master's program in individually compiled subjects or with structured specializations. In addition, there are other interesting Master's programs, such as the Master's program in Business Law or the Master's programs Bilingue or EUCOR in cooperation with other universities.
