The master's program in law represents the second stage of a related course of study. In this study phase, students deepen their knowledge. Passing the master's program completes the university education to become a lawyer. Successful completion of the master's program is a prerequisite for writing a dissertation or taking the bar exam.
The Master's programs at the Law Faculty of the University of Basel offer a wide variety of options: a free Master's program in individually compiled subjects or with structured specializations.
