Abbildung eines Mikroskopes im Bereich Forschung

2016 lancierte die Universität Basel zwei interne Projekt-Ausschreibungen um diejenigen Forschungfelder zu identifizieren, welche besondere Stärken in Personalized Health aufweisen. Ausgewählte Projekte wurden in drei thematischen Clustern vereinigt und werden gefördert. In dieser ersten Phase erhalten die Forschungs-Cluster „Onkologie“, „Infektionskrankheiten“ und „Immunologie“ einen Beitrag in Form je einer Bioinformatik-Spezialisten Stelle für zwei Jahre.

Zusätzlich unterstützt PHB die Forschungs-Cluster mit einer Koordinatorin, Dr. Cristina Golfieri. Sie organisiert Aktivitäten zur Förderung der Zusammenarbeit, Networking, Seminare und Retreats zwischen Forschungsgruppen der PH Allianz Zürich-Basel.
