SUMMARY:Grant Writing for Career Funding Programs

DESCRIPTION:Participants will learn how to prepare themselves for an appl
 ication to one of the major career funding schemes\, such as Ambizione\,
  SNF or ERC Starting Grants\, or Postdoctoral Fellowships (SNF\, MSCA). 
 We will discuss principles of Grant writing\, evaluation processes\, as 
 well as the challenges and requirements for a strong proposal\n\n\nThe G
 rant Writing for Career Funding Programs course consists of 3 sessions o
 f 4 hours each.\n\nSession 1\, Wednesday\, June 3\, 2026: Understanding 
 the “hidden rules”\nParticipants will learn why and when to apply for wh
 at and how to set the focus of their proposal. Evaluation processes\, ad
 ministrative tasks\, data management\, research ethics and much more wil
 l be discussed.\n\nSession 2\, Wednesday\, June 10\, 2026: Address “myse
 lf” in the proposal\nThe focus will be on the CV and track record and ho
 w to best include own experience and knowledge into the proposal.\n\nSes
 sion 3\, Wednesday\, June 17\, 2026: The “heart” of your application: Do
 ’s and Don’ts for writing the research plan\nParticipants will receive i
 nput and support from their peers\, former panel members and current gra
